International Day

International day is celebrated on 4th of September 2023. Participants in this event were students from outside Thailand, namely students from Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and several NRRU students who served as committee members and translators.

There are several games that we have to work on in groups, where the members in the group come from different countries.

The most significant challenge for me was that the language of instruction used during the event was Thai, starting from the power point that was shown, instructions from the committee, etc. and that made me confused because I don't speak Thai. Luckily, I was accompanied by a translator who was kind and patient in explaining and answering my questions during the event. Plus, most of them, especially those from China, don't all speak English so they and I have to use Google Translate when we communicate. Exhausting, but fun too. Hahaha.

The event closed with various artistic performances from various countries. Each of us showed what is unique to our country. We from Indonesia performed a traditional dance "Cublak - Cublak Suweng" which originates from Central Java.
